【Additional Info】Notice of change in Ugandan Regulation for imported used vehicles

Dear Esteemed Customers,

Thank you for using tradecarview.
This is to inform you of the additional information regarding the new import regulation of Uganda motor vehicle inspection.

-What happens if the car fails the inspection at Uganda border?
Buyer would decide whether he/she wants to repair the car and take the inspection again, or ship the car back to Japan at his/her own cost.

-How much is the inspection fee?
It costs USD 140.00 per unit.

-How will the Buyer pay for the inspection fee?
First, inspector from UNBS (Uganda National Bureau of Standards) will inspect the car. After the inspection is done, Buyer will receive an invoice from UNBS, upon which he/she shall make the payment by bank transfer.
