We would like to inform you of an important update
regarding the inspection requirements for vehicles imported into Uganda.

Effective for vehicles departing Japan on or after November 22, 2024, and arriving in Uganda,
the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has mandated
that vehicle inspections must now be conducted locally in Uganda,
instead of pre-export inspections in Japan.

Please note the following important points:

◆Invoice Adjustments:
We have promptly completed the system update to align with the new requirements,
ensuring that the pre-export inspection is no longer included in the invoices.
However, for invoices issued before the update, which still include the inspection fee,
please request your seller to remove the inspection fee from the invoice.

◆Refunds for Prepaid Inspection Fees:
If payment has already been processed,
as a general rule, your seller will process a refund for the inspection portion.
